Zakat Fund
Nisar Foundation was established in 2015 as a grassroots level organization by concerned residents of Pune.
Zakah is the 3rd of the five pillars of Islam. If one possesses a certain level of wealth, called Nisab, payment of Zakah becomes obligatory. So, at current rates, if the total of one's assets like cash, gold, silver, shares etc. one should pay 2.5% as Zakah on all assets.
Islamic Aid uses 100% of Zakah and other donations to help make immediate and long-term improvements to their lives of people affected by poverty, war and disaster by providing people with food and water; healthcare and the skills and means to help start earning a decent living.

We are a Non-Governmental / Non-Profit Organization which collects and utilizes ‘zakat’ or charity for socially beneficial projects in a transparent and organized manner.
Our projects include providing stipends to widows, an orphan. Also planning to establish an Orphanage, Charitable Hospital, etc.
You are invited to deposit your amount of zakat, sadaqa, imdaad and other charity.

Zaqat (Zakat) in the Quran:
The word "Zakat" occurs about 30 times in the Quran and is often associated with solat (prayer).
The following are verses on Zakat and sadaqah:
Al Baqarah : Ayat 43 And be steadfast in prayer; give Zakat, and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship).
Al Baqarah : Ayat 83 And remember We took a covenant from the children of Israel (to this effect): worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and give Zakat. then did ye turn back except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now).
Al Baqarah : Ayat 110 And be steadfast in prayer and given Zakat: and whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah; for Allah sees well all that ye do
